Record #152504:

The annual cycle of meteorological variables and the surface energy balance on Berkner Island, Antarctica / Carleen H. Reijmer, Wouter Greuell, Johannes Oerlemans.

Title: The annual cycle of meteorological variables and the surface energy balance on Berkner Island, Antarctica / Carleen H. Reijmer, Wouter Greuell, Johannes Oerlemans.
Author(s): Reijmer, Carleen H.
Greuell, Wouter.
Oerlemans, Johannes.
Date: 1999.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1999.), Vol. 29 (1999)
Abstract: Gives results from automatic weather station (AWS) at Berkner Island, Antarctica, 1995-98, giving meteorological dataset of hourly average data. Mean annual temperature is -24°C, annual mass balance 180 mm w.e. Summer temperatures are below 0°C, implying no melt takes place. Winds do not have significant effect. Uses surface energy-balance model to evaluate surface energy fluxes.
