Record #152441:

Vargmålet uppe i hovrätten / Gustaf Jillker.

Title: Vargmålet uppe i hovrätten / Gustaf Jillker.
Translated title: Wolf case reaches appeal court.
Author(s): Jillker, Gustaf.
Date: 1999.
Language: Swedish.
In: Samefolket. (1999.), Vol. 80(10) (1999)
Abstract: Both Nature Conservancy's investigation into wolf shooting and ILO Convention 169 should reach Östersund Appeal Court at same time. Evidence on wolf removal was contradictory, including width of scooter runners, number of scooters and age and DNA of tobacco spittle! Defence advocate claimed police were prejudiced. However, whoever killed wolf was likely to be Saami, because all suffered from predation. Local Härjedal municipality was racist in that it wanted "local solution" if Sweden ratified ILO Convention 169.
