Record #152429:

Temperatura powierzchni wody na Północnym Atlantyku a temperatura powietrza na Spitsbergenie i Jan Mayen / Andrzej A. Marsz.

Title: Temperatura powierzchni wody na Północnym Atlantyku a temperatura powietrza na Spitsbergenie i Jan Mayen / Andrzej A. Marsz.
Translated title: Surface water temperature in the North Atlantic and air temperature at Spitsbergen and Jan Mayen.
Author(s): Marsz, Andrzej A.
Date: 1999.
Publisher: Gdynia, Poland: Wyźsza Szkoła Morska
Language: Polish.
In: Problemy Klimatologii Polarnej. (1999.), Vol. 9 (1999)
Abstract: Correlation between these temperatures is greatest during polar night, so atmospheric circulation is common element. Relationship between surface air temperature and North Atlantic Oscillation index is weak. Equations were set up statistically for determining mean monthly air temperatures at stations named from earlier mean water temperature anomalies in North Atlantic. Data and derived equations show parts of ocean having greatest influence on temperature over Greenland Sea.
