| Abstract: | Use of abandoned coastal meadows by 12 deer was investigated for 25 days in 1996 and 24 days in 1997. Grass production on grazed and ungrazed meadows and faecal dry matter were measured. Daily digestible energy intake was estimated and compared with resting metabolic rate. |
