Abstract: Compares state functions of sovereign independent states with present Home Rule regime. Describes tendency towards reproduction of colonial economic relations at beginning of Home Rule, due to uneven development and organisational dependency. Table compares indicators of anomie, unemployment and income distribution of Greenland with those of other Nordic countries, (including Faroes, with similar population.) Author states that (short term) skilled Danish workers contribute less to economy than is supposed, owing to time learning jobs and background, lack of language and transport costs.
