| Abstract: | Presents structural, textural and clast data from till exposed in mountain valleys and adjacent piedmont in Fraser Lowland of British Columbia, Canada. Compares subglacial dynamics and flow patterns of late Wisconsinan glaciers to provide information on subglacial behaviour of south-western corner of last Cordilleran ice sheet. Identifies three flow phases. Finds shift in flow directions of valley glaciers. Fraser Lowland piedmont ice may have been part of outlet glacier-ice stream terminating in salt water over continental shelf. |
