| Abstract: | Describes new species of snailfish from lower bathyal depth of Polar Basin. Holotype and only known specimen is deposited in Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg. This fish was collected by German-Russian expedition by RV "Polarstern" 1993 on continental slope of northern part of area sea at depth of 2151-1934 m. Species is compared to similar C. reinhardti (Krøyer) |
