| Abstract: | Investigates two sediment cores, one from Laptev sea and another from central Arctic Ocean with respect to temporal distribution of planktic foraminifera as well as species composition and links to changes in water mass circulation. Attempts to document occurrence of unusual species which until now have not been found in Holocene sediments and discusses various possibilities regarding origin of these species. |
