Record #152265:

A new surface-processes model combining glacial and fluvial erosion / Jean Braun, Dan Zwartz, Jonathan H. Tomkin.

Title: A new surface-processes model combining glacial and fluvial erosion / Jean Braun, Dan Zwartz, Jonathan H. Tomkin.
Author(s): Braun, Jean.
Zwartz, Dan.
Tomkin, Jonathan H.
Date: 1999.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1999.), Vol. 28 (1999)
Abstract: Model incorporates large-scale fluvial processes, local hill-slope processes and glacial erosion. Compares efficiency of fluvial and glacial erosion in simulated fast-growing orogens, and shows amongst other conclusions that glacial landscapes can support greater ice masses than fluvial landscapes.
