Record #152231:

Identifying fast ice flow from landform assemblages in the geological record: a discussion / Jane K. Hart.

Title: Identifying fast ice flow from landform assemblages in the geological record: a discussion / Jane K. Hart.
Author(s): Hart, Jane K.
Date: 1999.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1999.), Vol. 28 (1999)
Abstract: Discusses landform assemblages at valley glacier scale, suggesting ice-thrust type is associated only with discontinuous fast flow, whilst bed-flow type is associated with continuous and discontinuous fast flow. Suggests they may indicate fast ice flow at ice-sheet scale (particularly bed-flow style), so ice-thrust landform assemblage and bed-flow style may indicate discontinuous fast ice flow in presence of drumlins.
