Record #152227:

Was the cirque glaciation of Wales time-transgressive, or not? / Ian S. Evans.

Title: Was the cirque glaciation of Wales time-transgressive, or not? / Ian S. Evans.
Author(s): Evans, Ian S.
Date: 1999.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1999.), Vol. 28 (1999)
Abstract: Attempts to explain pattern of cirque glaciation in Wales and relate it to one set of climatic conditions with consistent climatic gradients. Cirques are not seen in peripheral areas of north-east and south-west Wales, away from main ice-sheet sources and there is no clear evidence of time-transgressive cirque glaciation.
