| Abstract: | Revised rate for Djankuat glacier, Caucasus, shows retreat rate for 1913-32 as 50 m, not 300 m, so end "moraine of 30s" in valley seems to result from stationary state during 1910s and '20s. Measures lichens on stadial moraines from Little Ice Age in Djankuat valley. Corrects previous reconstruction of dimensions and mass balance of glacier. |
