Содержание макроэлементов в ледниках южного склона Эльбруса

Title: Содержание макроэлементов в ледниках южного склона Эльбруса
Title, transliterated: Soderzhanie makroėlementov v lednikakh i︠u︡zhnogo sklona Ėlʹbrusa / O.V. Rototaeva, A.M. Kerimov, I.F. Khmelevskoĭ.
Translated title: Concentration of macroelements in glaciers on southern slope of Elbrus Mt.
Author(s): Rototaeva, O. V.
Kerimov, A. M.
Khmelevskoĭ, I. F.
Date: 1999.
Language: Russian.
In: Materialy Gli︠a︡t︠s︡iologicheskikh Issledovaniĭ. (1999.), Vol. 87 (1999)
Abstract: Differences in chemical composition of snow, ice and firn on glaciers on southern slope of Elbrus were studied at height of 3,500-4,500 m a.s.l. Melting and precipitation had obvious effects, with greatest concentration coinciding with maximum precipitation. Important factors were rock composition of fresh Elbrus lavas, 'marine' ions transferred by south-western moisture-bearing air flux, and transfer of aerosols and pollutants in atmosphere.
