Abstract: Analyses tree-ring and climate data from forest-tundra zone, in combination with mechanistic model of tree-ring growth, to explore trends in winter precipitation over past century in subarctic regions and delayed snow melt in permafrost environment, as part of study of role of Siberian subarctic forest in global carbon cycle.
