The distributional features of ¹⁸O in modern-day precipitation on the Tibetan Plateau / Xinping Zhang, Tandong Yao, Lide Tian.
Title: | The distributional features of ¹⁸O in modern-day precipitation on the Tibetan Plateau / Xinping Zhang, Tandong Yao, Lide Tian. |
Author(s): | Zhang, Xinping. Yao, Tandong. Tian, Lide. |
Date: | 1999. |
Publisher: | Wallingford: IAHS Press |
In: | Interactions between the cryosphere, climate and greenhouse gases. (1999.), |
Abstract: | Gives differences of dδ¹⁸O/dT between three stations on Tibetan Plateau, though they decrease when synoptic fluctuation is eliminated. States mean δ¹⁸O summer precipitation increases from south to north on Plateau, espcially north of Tanggula Mountains. Contribution of vapour from inner Tibetan Plateau is significant to δ ¹⁸O in precipitation in summer. |
