Record #151526:

Energy balance measurements on a Canadian high Arctic glacier and their implications for mass balance modelling / Anthony Arendt, Martin J. Sharp.

Title: Energy balance measurements on a Canadian high Arctic glacier and their implications for mass balance modelling / Anthony Arendt, Martin J. Sharp.
Author(s): Arendt, Anthony.
Sharp, Martin J.
Date: 1999.
Publisher: Wallingford: IAHS Press
In: Interactions between the cryosphere, climate and greenhouse gases. (1999.),
Abstract: Uses meteorological measurements from John Evans Glacier, Ellesmere Island, Canada to show lapse rates in air temperature were variable, and degree-day factors tended to increase throughout melt season. Albedo algorithm using degree-day model gave more accurate water equivalent values.
Notes:

In: Interactions between the cryosphere, climate and greenhouse gases / Martyn Tranter, Richard Armstrong, Eric Brun, Gerry Jones, Martin J. Sharp, Mark Williams, eds.
