Abstract: Estimate is made of Greenlanders in Denmark in 1998 and compared with figures in 1971, by 10-year age groups. It is c. 15% of whole Greenland population. Definition is that one was born in Greenland. In both years women were in majority. Greenland societies in Denmark and their activities are described. Inset describes phases of visiting process, starting even before Qiperoq and Pooq in 1724, but latter came voluntarily.
