Record #151430:

Correlation of the ERS and SSM/I observations over snowpack and numerical simulation / Ya-Qiu Jin, Nanxiong Zhang.

Title: Correlation of the ERS and SSM/I observations over snowpack and numerical simulation / Ya-Qiu Jin, Nanxiong Zhang.
Author(s): Jin, Ya-Qiu.
Zhang, Nanxiong.
Date: 1999.
In: International Journal of Remote Sensing. (1999.), Vol. 20(15-16) (1999)
Abstract: Demonstrates that multichannel analysis by both active and passive sensors is helpful for monitoring temporal variation of complex snow cover. Satellite-borne microwave remote sensing backscattering and emission show good correlation and functional dependence on highly variable snow cover.
