Record #151324:

Impact of climate variability on snow cover redistribution and snowmelt runoff regimes in a mountainous region / Wang Jian, Li Wenjun.

Title: Impact of climate variability on snow cover redistribution and snowmelt runoff regimes in a mountainous region / Wang Jian, Li Wenjun.
Author(s): Jian, Wang.
Wenjun, Li.
Date: 1999.
Publisher: Wallingford: IAHS Press
In: Interactions between the cryosphere, climate and greenhouse gases. (1999.),
Abstract: States air temperature has risen in Heihe River basin, eastern China, by 1.4°C 1956-96, and snow cover distribution and runoff regime have been affected by global warming with rising air temperature since 1960. Diminishing snowfields and glaciers will reduce supply of water for this mid-latitude mountainous region.
