Abstract: Discusses method for short-term snowmelt runoff forecasts based on degree-day snowmelt model SRM-Java. Test run in 1996 showed errors of 1.6% and 16.6% for one-day and two-day forecasts, respectively. Modified version will be applied in 1999.
