Interannual variability of snow cover distribution over the former Soviet Union in connection with climate change / Alexander Krenke, Lev Kitaev.

Title: Interannual variability of snow cover distribution over the former Soviet Union in connection with climate change / Alexander Krenke, Lev Kitaev.
Author(s): Krenke, Alexander.
Kitaev, Lev.
Date: 1999.
Publisher: Wallingford: IAHS Press
In: Interactions between the cryosphere, climate and greenhouse gases. (1999.),
Abstract: Analyses snow cover anomalies in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Baltic countries for 1966-90. Strong El Niño gave higher snow storage to south, whilst negative anomalies predominated in Russian plain and north of Siberia. La Niña years show inverse pattern.
