| Abstract: | Uses 1990-91 fieldwork to examine feeding ecology of south polar skuas nesting on fringes of penguin colonies but with territories which include nesting Antarctic petrels or southern fulmars, and compares with those nesting and feeding in or around penguin colonies. Includes data on breeding success, preferred diet, hunting activities, responses to raiders, and chick activity. |
