Abstract: Reports observations of 'tolling' by Chen rossii and Chen caerulescens caerulescens at Egg River colony, Banks Island, Canadian Arctic. 'Tolling' refers to common behaviour among ducks of approaching terrestrial predators rather than avoiding them.
