Record #150038:

Variation of Southern Ocean sea level and its possible relation with Antarctic sea ice / G. Chen, R. Ezraty.

Title: Variation of Southern Ocean sea level and its possible relation with Antarctic sea ice / G. Chen, R. Ezraty.
Author(s): Chen, G.
Ezraty, R.
Date: 1999.
In: International Journal of Remote Sensing. (1999.), Vol. 20(1) (1999)
Abstract: Investigates variation of Southern Ocean sea level and its possible relation with Antarctic sea ice, demonstrating that sea-level variability in Southern Ocean is complex and bathymetrically controlled. Shows complexity of Southern Ocean sea level may result from coupling effects of heat and water exchanges. These may affect both regional weather and global climate.
