Chapters cover saltwater, freshwater and forest habitats, together with Alpine tundra and rocky slopes. Human activities include crossing of different native cultures and development of trade, with sustainable subsistence economy. Covers impact of Exxon Valdez disaster and plans for future development of access to Cordova.
