Record #149220:

Automatic weather station program during Dome Fuji Project by JARE in east Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica / S. Takahashi, and 9 others.

Title: Automatic weather station program during Dome Fuji Project by JARE in east Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica / S. Takahashi, and 9 others.
Author(s): Takahashi, S.
Date: 1998.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1998.), Vol. 27 (1998)
Abstract: Describes observations from six automatic weather stations between Syowa station and Dome Fuji station, Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica, since 1993. Big temperature rises were observed several times here in winter. Gives causes for two patterns of time delay of these. Atmospheric pressure oscillated at Dome Fuji station and Relay Point, and was highest in July and December. At Dome Fuji station fluctuations in hourly air temperature were twice as large as at other sites. Lapse rate of annual mean temperature increased with elevation, and was largest in April.
