| Abstract: | Ice core drilled 1995-96 at Dome Fuji, Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica, indicates two warm stages and one cold stage from surface down to 1800 m depth. Chemical constituents of ice core show differences between warm and cold periods. Depth-age relationship is obtained. Metamorphism of snow at surface may modify chemical signals indicative of atmospheric conditions. |
