| Abstract: | Summarises results from 1000km traverse from coast to Dome Fuji, Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica, showing changes in glaciological parameters with surface elevation and distance from coast. Deep ice-core drilling at Dome Fuji reached a depth of 2503.52 m in December 1996. Core analyses revealed 25 tephra layers and some distinct cloudy bands in ice. |
