Record #149184:

Freezing at the grounding line in East Antarctica: possible implications for sediment export efficiency / Roland Souchez, A. Khazendar, D. Ronveaux, J.-L. Tison.

Title: Freezing at the grounding line in East Antarctica: possible implications for sediment export efficiency / Roland Souchez, A. Khazendar, D. Ronveaux, J.-L. Tison.
Author(s): Souchez, Roland.
Khazendar, A.
Ronveaux, D.
Tison, J. -L.
Date: 1998.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1998.), Vol. 27 (1998)
Abstract: Results of study of composition of ice formed at or near grounding line in Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica, indicate double-diffusion mechanism responsible for freezing at grounding line in areas sheltered from sub-ice cavity circulation. Explains implications for sediment export in polar oceans.
