Abstract: Simple linear models for estimating oven-dry stem, living and dead branches and leaf components for above-ground mass of mountain birch Betula pubescens ssp. czerepanovii taller than 1.3 m are presented. Best variables explaining biomass were found and model was tested. It was applied to measured plot.
