Measurements of curvilinear ridges in the Bay of Bothnia during the ZIP-97 experiment / Mikko Lensu, Jukka Tuhkuri, Mark Hopkins.

Title: Measurements of curvilinear ridges in the Bay of Bothnia during the ZIP-97 experiment / Mikko Lensu, Jukka Tuhkuri, Mark Hopkins.
Author(s): Lensu, Mikko.
Tuhkuri, Jukka.
Hopkins, Mark.
Date: 1998.
Publisher: Otaniemi: Helsinki University of Technology, Ship Laboratory
Abstract: Measures structure of two ice ridges by drilling and levelling along multiple lines in Bay of Bothnia, Baltic Sea. Both ridges had regularly curvilinear sail resembling rounded finger-rafting pattern. Sails tended to be of insignificant size and volume when compared to full-grown keel beneath. Porosity was much lower than usual for linear ridge segments.
