Record #148538:

Irreducible water saturation in snow: experimental results in a cold laboratory / Cécile Coléou, Bernard Lesaffre.

Title: Irreducible water saturation in snow: experimental results in a cold laboratory / Cécile Coléou, Bernard Lesaffre.
Author(s): Coléou, Cécile.
Lesaffre, Bernard.
Date: 1998.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1998.), Vol. 26 (1998)
Abstract: Experiments show that irreducible water content in snow, expressed as per cent of mass, depends only on porosity. Results may be incorporated into snow-cover energy-balance models to improve retention and percolation predictions.
Notes:

Annals of Glaciology. Vol. 26 :64-68 (1998).

Papers from the International Symposium on Snow and Avalanches, 26--30 May 1997, Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France, D.M. McClung (Editor)
