Record #148504:

A new, major Silurian reef tract and overview of regional Silurian reef development, Canadian Arctic and North Greenland / Tim A. De Freitas, G.S. Nowlan.

Title: A new, major Silurian reef tract and overview of regional Silurian reef development, Canadian Arctic and North Greenland / Tim A. De Freitas, G.S. Nowlan.
Author(s): De Freitas, Tim A.
Nowlan, G. S.
Date: 1998.
In: Bulletin of Canadian Petroleum Geology. (1998.), Vol. 46(3) (1998)
Abstract: Describes newly discovered reef extending more than 150km through Canadian Arctic Archipelago. Provides biostratigraphic limits on age of its development. Places new reef in regional context of Arctic Silurian reef development. Contrasts this information with conventional ideas about evolution of lower Palaeozoic reefs.
