Kan sommerbeitene vaere slitte selv om de er grønne? / Kari Anne Bråthen.

Title: Kan sommerbeitene vaere slitte selv om de er grønne? / Kari Anne Bråthen.
Translated title: Can summer grazings be worn out even if they are green?.
Author(s): Bråthen, Kari Anne.
Date: 1998.
Language: Norwegian.
In: Reindriftsnytt. (1998.), Vol. 32(4) (1998)
Abstract: Author sought to find out whether greenness of summer growth, so essential for deer's building up for winter, hides damage as bad as that on ranges. She chose south-facing, blueberry, low bracken, birch wood c. 200 m above sea in Joahkonjárga district, where summer herds were particularly dense. Squares were protected by transparent canopies. Plants were divided into grazing plants and others, and counted in and out of squares. No attempt was made yet to measure nutritional quality of different species.
