| Abstract: | Digitised images of maps and aerial photographs of fjord-head delta were compared to document changes from 1912-1990 to delta plain before and after regulation in 1977 and sediment extraction since 1955. Major changes before regulation include 500 m westward shift of outlet channel and formation and abandonment of several secondary channels. Wave processes have taken over from fluvial as main factors in delta structure. |
