Abstract: Through analysis of data collected during annual capture and banding programmes in Sagavanirktok River, tests hypothesis that petroleum-related developments, especially road and causeway construction and use, pose significant obstacle to flightless snow geese dispersing east from Howe Island toward brood-rearing areas.
