Title: | Magnitudes of sea-level lowstands of the past 500,000 years / E.J. Rohling, M. Fenton, F.J. Jorissen, P. Bertrand, G. Ganssen, J.P. Caulet. |
Author(s): | Rohling, E. J. Fenton, M. Jorissen, F. J. Bertrand, P. Ganssen, G. Caulet, J. P. |
Date: | 1998. |
In: | Nature. (1998.), Vol. 394(6689) (1998) |
Abstract: | Presents sea-level low (lowstand) estimates from 500,000 years before present, finding world can glaciate more intensely than during LGM by up to additional 20 m lowering of global sea level, equivalent to change in global ice volume of order of today's Greenland and West Antarctic ice sheets. |
Notes: | Nature. Vol. 394(6689) :162-165 (1998). |
