Ice-marginal characteristics of Fridtjovbreen (Svalbard) during its recent surge / Neil F. Glasser, David Huddart, Matthew R. Bennett.

Title: Ice-marginal characteristics of Fridtjovbreen (Svalbard) during its recent surge / Neil F. Glasser, David Huddart, Matthew R. Bennett.
Author(s): Glasser, Neil F.
Huddart, David.
Bennett, Matthew R.
Date: 1998.

Abstract: Glacier is actively surging tidewater type. Observations were made at western flank in July 1997, when front was still advancing rapidly, with steep lateral ice cliffs. Push moraines were formed, and there is evidence of glaciotectonic deformation within deformed debris thrusts.
