| Abstract: | Current convention will have run 30 years. Commission to outline new one will be headed by Dane Kjeld Mortensen, who was secretary to 1964 commission. Saami view will be put this time by 2 Saami in each delegation. Area covered will be Finnmark, Troms, Nordland, part of North Trøndelag, Norrbotten, Västerbotten and part of Jämtland. Remit will cover rational use of area and interests of community and economy. Besides boundary matters, hunting and fishing rights, dogs, weapons, radio transmitters and motor vehicles are cogent. At present countries' arrangements are different, even in support system. |
