Record #146396:

Macrofauna communities in the Amundsen Basin, at the Morris Jesup Rise and at the Yermak Plateau (Eurasian Arctic Ocean) / I. Kröncke.

Title: Macrofauna communities in the Amundsen Basin, at the Morris Jesup Rise and at the Yermak Plateau (Eurasian Arctic Ocean) / I. Kröncke.
Author(s): Kröncke, I.
Date: 1998.
In: Polar Biology. (1998.), Vol. 19(6) (1998)
Abstract: Samples were collected in autumn 1991 from depths of 560-4411 m. Macrofaunal species numbers varied from 1 to 11 per 0.02 m² in basins and from 44 to 81 per 0.25 m² on plateau. Abundances and biomass were also recorded. 108 taxa were found. High species richness at low abundance at intermediate depths was comparable with that seen in Antarctic and tropics.
