| Abstract: | Analyses magnetometer data recorded at Davis, Law and Plateau stations in Antarctica during austral winter 1992 for ionospheric signatures of cusp/cleft region of magnetosphere. Demonstrates use of crossphase techniques to distinguish between broadband noise and periodic components in magnetometer time series, and shows how Pc5 waves can be used to "magneto-sound" outer-regions of dayside magnetosphere. |
