Record #145598:

A three-dimensional climate--ice-sheet model applied to the Last Glacial Maximum / Philippe Huybrechts, Stephen T'siobbel.

Title: A three-dimensional climate--ice-sheet model applied to the Last Glacial Maximum / Philippe Huybrechts, Stephen T'siobbel.
Author(s): Huybrechts, Philippe.
T'siobbel, Stephen.
Date: 1997.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1997.), Vol. 25 (1997)
Abstract: Uses quasi three-dimensional climate model to simulate climate of Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) in order to provide climatic input for modelling of Northern Hemisphere ice sheets. Comparison with present-day simulation generally agrees well with more complex GCMs. Demonstrates that with some adjustments within realistic bounds of ice-flow and mass-balance parameters reasonable reconstruction of LGM ice sheets can be obtained.
