Record #145589:

Evaluating moist physics for Antarctic mesoscale simulations / Keith M. Hines, David H. Bromwich, Richard I. Cullather.

Title: Evaluating moist physics for Antarctic mesoscale simulations / Keith M. Hines, David H. Bromwich, Richard I. Cullather.
Author(s): Hines, Keith M.
Bromwich, David H.
Cullather, Richard I.
Date: 1997.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1997.), Vol. 25 (1997)
Abstract: Shows results of explicit cloud physics parameterization, with discussion of deficiencies in these three layers. Results of sensitivity experiments indicate reduction of cloud condensation nuclei does not improve simulation. Reduction in excessive cloud ice in upper troposphere significantly improves simulation of upper-tropospheric temperature.
