Abstract: Uses multi-level primitive-equation ocean model, coupled to dynamic-thermodynamic sea-ice model to investigate possible pollutant pathways. With small mixing and improved physics (FCT with neptune effect) model simulated more realistic circulation and contamination distribution than centred-difference advection scheme with constant diffusion (CDA without neptune).
