Record #145151:

Vertical distribution of bacteria in Arctic sea ice from the Barents and Laptev seas / Rolf R. Gradinger, Qing Zhang.

Title: Vertical distribution of bacteria in Arctic sea ice from the Barents and Laptev seas / Rolf R. Gradinger, Qing Zhang.
Author(s): Gradinger, Rolf R.
Zhang, Qing.
Date: 1997.
In: Polar Biology. (1997.), Vol. 17 (1997)
Abstract: Drifting ice floes of variable thickness and age were sampled in summer 1993. Describes abundance and biomass of bacteria from different types of sea ice. Discusses knowledge gathered on fast-ice systems during past decade can be directly transferred to multi-year ice systems or whether each ice type needs to be treated separately.
