Abstract: | (See also Grønland 1998:5.) Article describes this and two other cases of repatriation involving institutions in Denmark and Greenland, besides return of some ethnographical and archaeological objects, following 1970 UNESCO convention. Remains were those taken by 5th Thule Expedition 1921-1923, Polar Eskimos taken alive to New York by Peary in 1897 and Alaskan Chugach remains from Prince William Sound. |
