| Abstract: | Report presents results of study of hydrocarbons in haddock, cod and saithe from Barents Sea, Haltenbanken, Egersundbanken and northern and central North Sea. Total hydrocarbon concentrations (THC) in liver varied, but were not significantly higher from petroleum installation areas. Concentrations of aromatic hydrocarbons were low. Generally higher levels of alkylated decalines were found in fish from North Sea than in fish from more northerly areas. |
