Record #144903:

Lithostratigraphy, sedimentary evolution and sequence stratigraphy of the Upper Proterozoic Lyell Land Group (Eleonore Bay Supergroup) of East and North-east Greenland / Henrik Tirsgaard, Martin Sønderholm.

Title: Lithostratigraphy, sedimentary evolution and sequence stratigraphy of the Upper Proterozoic Lyell Land Group (Eleonore Bay Supergroup) of East and North-east Greenland / Henrik Tirsgaard, Martin Sønderholm.
Author(s): Tirsgaard, Henrik.
Sønderholm, Martin.
Date: 1997.
In: Geology of Greenland Survey Bulletin. (1997.), Vol. 178 (1997)
Abstract: Group is c. 3 km thick succession of siliclastic shelf deposits, widely exposed in region from Ardencaple Fjord to Canning Land. Seven formations in it are formally described. Five facies associations are recognised. Evidence from palaeocurrent data gives N-S coastline direction and palaeolatitude on southern hemisphere. Large scale forced regressions are inferred.
