Abstract: Presents quantitative analysis of plant communities of human-induced primary succession in Yamal Peninsula. These are preliminary findings from long-term project investigating responses of flora and vegetation to similar natural and anthropogenic disturbances at different latitudes. Attempts to determine natural revegetation capacity of regional tundra.
