Abstract: NW part of Dunderdalen, abrasion platform from Holocene isostatic movements, was studied. Soils are both mineral and peat types. Climate is periglacial with oceanic features, and there are many surface streams and lakelets. Birds and reindeer have indirect effect. Soils and plant cover are described on four sites.
